Hi, I’m Alberto! 👋

I’m a Senior Software Engineer with nearly a decade of experience, currently working at commercetools, a global leader in headless commerce.

My journey with Scala began eight years ago, and it has since become my language of choice. I’m a passionate advocate of functional programming, and I strive to incorporate its principles into my daily work. Alongside Scala, I have hands-on experience with Rust 🦀 and Python, broadening my technical expertise.

Outside the world of code, I enjoy dancing, solving escape rooms, and exploring new destinations. I’m also a trekker and aspiring photographer, always on the lookout for the next adventure.

In 2021, I embarked on the Santiago de Compostela pilgrimage, starting from León and covering over 330km in 15 days. This incredible journey left a lasting impression on me, and I aim to complete the entire path in the future.
